6.4.3 Down conductors on buildings with courtyards

In the case of structures with enclosed courtyards, it must be checked whether it is necessary to install down conductors in the courtyard. Down conductors should be installed in enclosed courtyards with a circumference of more than 30 m (Figure 6.4.3.1). The distance between the down conductors should correspond to the typical value of the selected protection class, as specified in Table 6.4.1.1.
