6.2.1.3 Intermeshed conductors

The configuration of air-termination systems with intermeshed conductors is performed according to the mesh method. A mesh network of air-termination conductors is installed on the area to be protected, which covers the entire surface. The configuration takes the following points into account:

1. Air-termination conductor arrangement:
   
   • The air-termination conductors are installed on roof edges, eaves and ridges.
   • On pitched roofs with an incline greater than 1/10, the air-termination conductors are laid along the roof ridges and edges. 
   • For structures over 60 m high, air-termination conductors are also installed on the sides in the upper area (above 80% of the building height).
