5.1.9 Creating plans of measures

If the 'Result without measures' section indicates that the risk in one or more zones is unacceptable, a new plan can be generated using the 'Create plan of measures' function. This serves to specifically define protective measures for risk reduction.

Creating plans of measures
You can create as many plans of measures as you like, each representing a separate protection variant. All plans are based on the previously calculated risk analysis without protective measures. Within a plan, existing protective measures can be documented and new measures for risk minimisation can be added. The title should clearly identify the respective protection variant – e.g. 'Existing measures', 'Required measures' or 'Recommended measures'.
Before creating the plan, the user must confirm that they are aware of the following framework conditions:
"The application of the risk analysis according to IEC 62305-2 does not release the user from the obligation to check and apply minimum requirements from national laws, regulations, official requirements and generally accepted engineering practice."
This is intended to raise awareness that risk analysis in accordance with lightning protection standards does not automatically cover all other national regulations.
Once confirmed, the plan of measures is created by clicking on 'Create plan'.
