5.1.8 Risk without protection measures

Risk analysis in accordance with IEC 62305-2 begins with an evaluation of the initial situation, i.e. the condition of the structure without lightning protection measures. This chapter shows whether the risks currently identified are within the limits specified by the standard or whether protective measures are required.
Directly below the heading, you can choose between two display formats: While the risk view compares the calculated values R with the limit value R_T (Figure 5.1.8.1), the frequency view compares the damage frequency F with F_T (Figure 5.1.8.2) – in each case taking into account all building data, zone properties and conductor influences entered to date.
