5.2.3 Creation of earthing systems

The creation of an earthing system in DEHNplan is based on project-specific settings, in particular the specification of whether external lightning protection is intended. This decision has a significant influence on the design of the earthing system.
Automated generation based on the basic settings
DEHNplan can automatically generate an earthing system based on predefined normative and geometric parameters. These basic settings, which are derived from the selected standard (e. g. DIN 18014 or IEC 62305-3) and the building dimensions, can be adjusted manually at any time to take individual requirements into account (Figure 5.2.3.1)
